Bar

Bar

We offer a selection of wine, beer and your usual hard tack. Our barmen Trevor, Lebo and Lion are trained to make the very best cocktails.

R&R Bar

The River Ruins Bar is built on the river. Mostly used for private functions, it is a scenic spot to view the river and animals who come to quench their thirsts.

4x4 Track

Why not challenge yourself and your vehicle? Not the most challenging, but a good practice run for those who want a little adrenalin before a cold beer!

Game Drives

We have a wide variety of game roaming the bush. Available @ R590,00 per person, we require that you book in advance to prevent disappointment.

Kids Cycling

We have opened up a 1 meter wide path (3.5km distance) for a run or cycle along the river. Kids under 12 need to be accompanied by their parents.

Water Fountain

The best fun on hot days! A safe spot for the kids to cool off while dad watches some live sport on our big screen and mom socializes with friends.

Swimming Pool

The one spot which needs no introduction – laze around in our clean swimming pool and combat the well-known (and loved) Lowveld heat.

Jungle Gym

We love it when the kids have a great time – so we’ve built a large jungle gym, swings and a “foefie slide” just for them, where parents can keep a watchful eye.

Hiking Trails

With a large number of informal tracks and dirt roads criss-crossing the area you are welcome to take a short walk around the area. You might meet a wild friend!
